Review - Pai Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser

Aqui há tempos numa promoção online do site da Pai, que é magnífico e tem sempre óptimas promos, adquiri este Camelia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser para testar se seria bom e em que situações se inseriria na minha rotina.

Devo começar a review por dizer que isto não é um desmaquilhante, na verdade nem clenser bem lhe chamaria por uma simples razão: se virem a formulação abaixo, não encontrarão um único tensioactivo. Ou seja, não há nada que retire a sujidade do rosto nem a maquilhagem. Experimentei a usá-lo como desmaquilhante e garanto que retirou 0. No entanto, ele tem um lugar na minha rotina de pele, mas como segundo cleanser, pois para limpar a pele é excelente.

É seguramente a formulação mais suave e hidratante para uma pele sensível com que já me deparei, com o seu lugar numa rotina de pele não simples.

No geral, é um produto um pouco confuso porque não faz aquilo que promete: ser um cleanser. Aí perde pontos... Mas se procuram um produto para uma segunda limpeza depois de um óleo ou um bálsamo, têm a pele seca e sensível, aconselho a experimentar este creme de limpeza!

Awhile ago I ordered this Camelia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser from Pai's website which always has amazing promos, because I wanted to test this cleanser to see if it would be good and where it would position on my skincare routine.

I should start this review by saying this is not a makeup remover, it actually isn't really a cleanser either because if you check the INCI above, there isn't one single surfactant listed. This means that there isn't one single ingredient that would remove makeup. And believe me, I've tried with no sucess. However, I did find a place for it in my routine as a second cleanser, as this is an awesome product for skin cleansing.

It's certainly the most gentle and hydrating cleanser I've seen for sensitive skin, and does have its place in a multi-step skincare routine.

Generally speaking, it is a confusing product because it does not actually do what it promises: cleanse. And that's where it scores poorly... But, if you're looking for a second cleanser after an oil or a balm and you have sensitive and dry skin, you should give this a go!
