Clarins Aquatic Tresures Collection

A nova colecção de Verão da Clarins Aquatic Treasures* tem, como de costume, produtos lindíssimos. Começo pelo destaque que faço todos os anos: o bronzer. Para além de lindo e de ter um padrão magnífico, o pó tem uma cor lindíssima, que ajuda a criar um bronze natural, não sendo nem demasiado laranja, nem demasiado frio. Este ano a novidade é que o bronzer está dividido em quartos, cada um deles com um tom, do mais claro ao mais quente. Como ainda não apanhei sol este ano, tenho usado a metade superior (mais clara) e adoro o efeito. Como podem ver pela foto dos swatches acima, as cores têm uma diferença entre si e todas juntas (swatch abaixo dos 4) não diverge dos tons das edições anteriores. E há algo a dizer acerca do tamanho dele, que tenho o do ano passado que uso com regularidade e ainda nem o relevo quebrei…

Para ajudar a fingir o bronze, foi também lançado o Eclát Minute em dois tons, o "04 apricot" e o "05 golden bronze". Aqui está o mais claro apresentado. Ao contrário do que possa parecer no swatch, não é uma base no sentido convencional. Na verdade, pode ser usado de várias maneiras: como bronzer líquido, aplicado nos pontes onde o sol incidiria no rosto, como primer bronzeador, para aquecer a tez antes da base ou adicionado à base para a escurecer um pouco, caso já não vos fique bem o vosso tom de Inverno. Na verdade, é um produto super versátil e os que conheço semelhantes (olá By Terry!) são bem mais caros. Deixa um acabamento meio luminoso e diria que, sozinho, terá uma cobertura leve a média.

Por fim, o outro produto que me foi dado a conhecer foi o Waterproof Kajal em "05 aquatic green" que é um azul cobalto bem bonito, para combinar com o bronze. Usei-o na foto abaixo e, posso dizer-vos que umas 12h depois, estava no mesmo sítio e não carimbou, o que nos meus olhos é raríssimo! Aconselho vivamente e agora fiquei com vontade de experimentar mais lápis kajal da Clarins.

The new Clarins summer collection Aquatic Treasures* has, as usual, amazing products. I’ll start by highlighting the star product every single year: the bronzer. Besides the beautiful embossment, the powder itself has the most perfect color that helps to create a natural bronze, not too orange, not too ashy. This year the bronzer is divided in 4 parts, from the lightest to the darkest brown, which helps to customize the color to your skintone. As I haven’t step foot on the beach this year, I’ve been using the top half but, if you fancy just swirling everything, the final color is not too dark either (the swatch is below all the other 4). Also, this is a big-ass bronzer. I have last year’s edition too and I haven’t even broken the embossment and I use it quite regularly! It will last you for a while…

Also, to help create that believable bronze, it was also released the Éclat Minute in two shades: the "04 apricot" and the "05 golden bronze". Here is showed the lightest of the two. Contrary to what might look from the swatch, this is not a foundation, it’s actually much cooler. It can be used as a liquid bronzer to warm up the higher points of the face, as a bronzing primer to warm up the whole face or make it match the neck or just to warm up your foundation when the winter shade is not your shade anymore. Actually this is quite a versatile product, and all the similar ones I know (hi there By Terry!) are much more expensive. It leaves a luminous finish on the skin and I’d say that, used alone, it would be similar to a tinted moisturizer in coverage with a light to medium coverage.

Last but certainly not least, there’s the pencil waterproof kajal in "05 aquatic green" which is a pretty cobalt blue that matches a tan. You can see it featured in the photo below and I can say that it lasted 12h in my eyes, which is pretty pretty rare in me, as everything smudges! It made me want to try more eye pencils from Clarins.
